  • Daniel  3
    • 16-18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, “Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”
    • All is well whether it goes my way or not.
  • You may not see a way out but God is still on the throne so all is well
    • The trap The enemy sett for me can be used for God's glory.
  • 1 Peter 4:12 KJV
    • Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
  • Matthew 13
  • The weeds always pop up right before the harvest but when it comes to those weeds l didn't sew them so I dost have to reap them!
  • Hebrews 4:3 KJV
    • For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

        • Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.
        • You have to believe that all is well even when It does not look well
  • Romans 4:17-18 MSG
    • We call Abraham "father" not because he got God's attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody. Isn't that what we've always read in Scripture, God saying to Abraham, "I set you up as father of many peoples"? Abraham was first named "father" and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn't do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, "You're going to have a big family, Abraham!"
  • Do not use your words to describe the situation me your words to change the situation.
    • You are setting yourself up for disappointment IF all things have to go your way
  • Paul and Silas praise in the prison.
    • Paul and Silas had been beaten and thrown into jail unfairly. The two of them decided to pray and sing praises. In response there was a great earthquake which caused every door to open and to loose all the prisoners.
  • Daniel in the lion's den
  • IF you dont talk to yourself the right way negative thoughts will invade
  • Isaiah 3:10 KJV
    • Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
  • All things will work to my advantage even when things don't go my way.

  • God can only be glorified through us.
  • Psalm 116:12-19 MSG
    • What can I give back to God for the blessings he's poured out on me? I'll lift high the cup of salvation—a toast to God ! I'll pray in the name of God ; I'll complete what I promised God I'd do, and I'll do it together with his people. When they arrive at the gates of death, God welcomes those who love him. Oh, God , here I am, your servant, your faithful servant: set me free for your service! I'm ready to offer the thanksgiving sacrifice and pray in the name of God . I'll complete what I promised God I'd do, and I'll do it in company with his people, In the place of worship, in God 's house, in Jerusalem, God 's city. Hallelujah!
  • Take what God has given me an use it
  • All good relationships are good exchanges
  • Take hold of what Is given and produce.
  • God wants us to have more
  • God doesn't want us to work for Him , he wants us to freely take.

It's Only a Test

Tests show us weaknesses in our character and when we pass the tests we get promoted.

1 Peter 4:12 AMP

Beloved, do not be amazed and bewildered at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test your quality, as though something strange (unusual and alien to you and your position) were befalling you.

Instead of being discouraged or going through self-pity we can choose to keep our joy. God uses people to rub off our rough edges sometimes.

When you start to rule over your emotions then certain buttons won't work. God is more interested in changing me than he is in changing my circumstances.

When you sow a radical seed of obedience you will reap a radical reward. Pressure can bring impurities to light.

As long as you're a child then you won't receive the inheritance. The more we mature, the less we depend on others.

James 1:12 NLT

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Don't fight against everything that's hard.

PRESS IN & PRESS ON

Lamentations 3:23 NLT

Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

· We know that we can start over but we don't know how to receive it.

Philippians 3:13 NLT

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,

· There is nothing that we can do about the past and it doesnt represent your future.

Philippians 3:12-14 NKJV

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

· We have to do some forgetting.

Psalm 27:13 NKJV

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.

Hebrews 12:1 NLT

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
