Juice Booster Chronicles: My First Giveaway!

At least until July 2020, I'm an official Juice Booster; as I mentioned before, being official has it's priveleges! One cool privelege is that I get 4 free menu items a month. Last month, I used my Juice Booster card for a "Juice Until Dinner" giveaway.

This was an Instagram Giveaway. Entrants simply had to like the post, follow Clean Juice Vintage Park, and tag a friend. Once entries were closed, I used a website to choose a random winner. The winner was Katie Freeman; I had a chance to check in with her to see how the cleanse went!

Tell me a little about yourself.

I’m a wife, mom, speech pathologist, rehab director and fitness instructor. 

What did you know about Clean Juice prior to the giveaway?

Prior to the giveaway all I knew about clean juice is that you liked to go there a lot 🙂It's true, I like to go to Clean Juice a lot! Going to Clean Juice is like going to mom's kitchen for a snack! When my husband is out of town I usually go for lunch and dinner or a juice cleanse. You can follow my instagram to see the yummy menu items that I post. Anyways, back to Katie! 

Had you ever done a Juice Cleanse?

I [had] never in my life done a juice cleanse before. 

Describe your day on the cleanse.

I went about my usual Sunday activities (church, had friends over), so I was moderately active, but didn’t go to the gym. 

I felt hungry a few times but usually it was getting close to time that I could have another juice. When I drank the juices I tried to make them last longer by not drinking them too fast. 

A few people asked and I told them about the juice cleanse and how the juices tasted a lot better than I expected. 

OK, the million dollar question: Did you make it until dinner?

I DID make it until dinner. I was pretty proud of myself 😆

Would you do it again?

I would do it again. I might even consider trying a 2 day cleanse sometime. 

Thank you for sharing this experience with me. I’m not sure I would have done it on my own the first time but I’m glad I did. I wish there was a location much closer to me!

Jeanicia Elder, Juice Booster

I have been recently invited to be a Clean Juice Juice Booster. Mostly, the Juice Booster program is to thank me for being a great guest and to recognize me as someone whose character and values match up with what Clean Juice stands for! I was beyond flattered when the owner invited me to join this program and to be honest I was already "juice boosting" because I love the food and the company. If you follow me on ANY social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) you know that I’m a big fan of Clean Juice.  Last year I met a local business owner, now friend, Diana Fraser who put Clean Juice on my radar so whenever I was in the memorial area I'd visit Clean Juice Memorial Green. I love that Clean Juice as a company produces healthy that cater to a wide variety of diets and food sensitivities. I love the level of transparency they offer by being open and honest about what goes into their menu and how they source seasonally fresh produce from vendors who meet certified organic criteria.

Finally, and most importantly, I love that visiting Clean Juice feels like visiting my mom's or aunt's kitchen. I try hard to eat healthy snacks but many times I end up having to freeze most of my fruit and vegetables to cook or blend later. Honestly, sometimes I let them rot (don't judge me)! This is a healthy "fast food" option.
