The Honor of Wanting to Quit

Tommy Barnett @ Lakewood Church

Galatians 6:9 NLT

So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.

Abraham wanted to quit. Peter wwanted to quit. John the Baptist wanted to quit...

1. Wanting to quit is a sign of success.

2. The more you have the more you want to quit.

· the higher you get, the colder it gets, the lonlier it gets, etc...

3. You can enjoy the luxury of wanting to quit because you know you are not going to quit.

· Burn the bridges that are behind you.

· Don't tell anyone you want to quit.

· Don't expose your self to things that you don't want to be.

If you quit then you will miss out on the dream. Life is a big puzzle and we don't know how the pieces fit together. We just need to keep the faith.

1 Corinthians 13:9 NLT

Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture!

Romans 8:31 NLT

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

Declare our glass as half full and not half empty. We get to choose what we believe.

Acts 3:6-8 NLT

But Peter said, "I don't have any silver or gold for you. But I'll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!"

Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man's feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

Change your posture.

When you start believing, you are going to act on it.
